Carla Kelly's Christmas stories are among my favorites, and I reread Mary Jo Putney's Christmas Revels and Jo Beverley's Winter Fire every year.Jangahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15128188159653860806noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8192776379752748640.post-9347079797445318352011-10-24T23:33:42.041-04:002011-10-24T23:33:42.041-04:00It really is a feel-good story, PJ. I'm hoping we'll hear more about future books soon.Jangahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15128188159653860806noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8192776379752748640.post-26864334607276423432011-10-21T13:29:19.253-04:002011-10-21T13:29:19.253-04:00What do I look for? Probably just that the author gives me a real feel for what Christmas is like for the characters she's writing about, whether it is in a contemporary or historical. I like to feel like I'm right there with them, whether it's present day Colorado or Regency England.

Picking my favorite historical would be hard. It would most probably be a Mary Balogh, though. I love her Christmas anthologies. A few come to mind - both are reunion stories and both are in the Under the Mistletoe anthology: A Family Christmas and Playing House.irisheyeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11730974733998991144noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8192776379752748640.post-59282981312449956432011-10-21T10:40:49.340-04:002011-10-21T10:40:49.340-04:00I have oodles of favorites and no time to post abo...I have oodles of favorites and no time to post about them (crazy schedule) right now so I'll just comment on Season for Temptation. I loved this book, mostly because of Julia. She's an absolute delight!

I smiled throughout the story, laughed out loud in many places and came away with a warm glow in my heart; all of which sent this book straight to my Christmas keeper shelf for happy re-readings during holiday seasons to come.

Oh, and I too am keeping my fingers crossed for a book for Louisa!pjpuppymomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18234101901405553621noreply@blogger.com
