I, too have a lot of catching up to do.
I wish you a Happy Whatever Holiday you celebrate. And a very good year to come.fsbuchlerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14928364594015643639noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8192776379752748640.post-46819962185516528722011-12-17T14:36:01.099-05:002011-12-17T14:36:01.099-05:00Q, you can read the Brockway as a standalone. I hi...Q, you can read the Brockway as a standalone. I highly recommend As You Desire, one of my favorite romances ever, but you can follow TOGB without the context of AYD.

Anderson is one of your faves, isn't she? I thought about you when I added her 2012 book to my book calendar. :)Jangahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15128188159653860806noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8192776379752748640.post-12315435459348861782011-12-16T15:44:45.644-05:002011-12-16T15:44:45.644-05:00Thanks for this list Janga. Which three of these ten can it be? Oh you temptress!

The Brockway is in the Xmas sale at audible and looks very tempting. Does it work as a stand alone or should I read 'As you desire' first?

I have read the Putney novel and would concur with your assessment. I particularly liked the gunpowder plot, especially as I read it close to Guy Fawkes night! LOL

I think that I would like to include Catherine Anderson's 'Comanche Magic' to the list. It's one of the most moving novels that I have read recently.Quantumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08686409685564115213noreply@blogger.com
